PUBG Corp has partnered up with Minkonet to make use of their 3D replay and killcam technology for the upcoming release of version 1.0 for Οι παίκτες του Battlegrounds του γνωστού παίκτη, which is due out for the PC version starting December 20th.

You’ll be able to see exactly who killed you and how.

A lot of gamers have been begging for this kind of tech to appear in Οι παίκτες του Battlegrounds του γνωστού παίκτη and don’t think that Bluehole Studios wasn’t trying to add it in. However, Minkonet’s CEO and co-founder, Peter Kim, explained in the press release that the replay system being added to an open-world game posed a significant challenge for the team and had various technical and engineering hurdles they had to overcome in order to get it implemented and streamlined into the gameplay for Οι παίκτες του Battlegrounds του γνωστού παίκτη, λέγοντας ...

“Building replay systems for battle royale, open world and massively multiplayer online games that typically feature huge maps and many objects interacting in real time presents many technical challenges,”

 

“We know expectations from the community are high and our team worked side-by-side with the PUBG developers to design and deliver a never-before-seen, immersive replay experience that is sure to deliver countless hours of ‘wow-factor’ moments and shareable content.”

Early testers have already been impressed with the 3D replay feature, bringing Οι παίκτες του Battlegrounds του γνωστού παίκτη up to par with games like Call of Duty και Πεδίο μάχης. Being able to provide users with a 360 degree replay effect of how they died is great both for studying game data and for e-sports casters.

This also means that when you’re getting aced by Dr. Disrespect after he aced your wife, you can get a replay of every time he killed you in the game, just like you’ll have a lifetime of replays to remind you that you couldn’t please your wife every time you send her that alimony check each month.

You’ll essentially be able to see exactly who killed you, what kind of weapon they were using, where they were on the map, and whether or not they were cheating.

Thanks to the 3D data technology that Minkonet provides, you’ll be able to see exactly what conditions were made feasible for them to get the kill, assuming they did so honorably.

Of course, this still doesn’t distract from the fact that creative director Brendan Greene kowtowed to an angry minority on Twitter about the phantom camel-toe in Οι παίκτες του Battlegrounds του γνωστού παίκτη, which has to be 2017’s most embarrassing non-troversy.

Οι παίκτες του Battlegrounds του γνωστού παίκτη is currently available in Early Access for PC and Xbox One.
