Το ανακοίνωσε η Square Enix Dragon Quest οικοδόμοι 2 is coming for the PlayStation 4 and the Nintendo Switch. The announcement came during a panel where they not only announced the title but they also showcased several minutes worth of gameplay.

Gametalk managed to capture the news and do a brief write-up on some of the new features in the Minecraft-esque adventure game. You’ll be able to climb, swim, glide and utilize a wind cloak. The game also sports a four-player multiplayer mode where gamers can team up with other players from around the world.

You can check out the three minute collage of the gameplay below courtesy of RPG ιστοσελίδας, where we see the chibi-style characters running around, swimming, adventuring and doing some light building.

During the video, we see the main character swimming into a deep ravine and then later they leap off the top of a cliff and whip out the cloak glider, where the character slowly makes his way back down to the ground.

Many players compared it to the gliding in The Legend of Zelda games, especially the most recent Πνοή της Άγριας. It’s certainly hard to deny the similarities between the two.

The video rounds out with a quick look at the four-player co-op mode, where the players toss each other bricks, and attempt to build a house within a matter of seconds. You can see just how efficient multiple players can be for constructing any number of different structures… assuming there’s a decent amount of communication.

Οπωσδήποτε, Dragon Quest οικοδόμοι 2 is a long ways out from release. The first game came out back in January of 2016 last year, but given that they’re still early in the development of the sequel, don’t expect to see it on store shelves for the Nintendo Switch or PS4 until sometime deep into 2018.
