Οι παίκτες του Mortal Kombat αποκτούν δωρεάν νόμισμα εντός του παιχνιδιού ως απολογία με την επερχόμενη ενημέρωση κώδικα

Mortal Kombat has only been out about a week and, as is frequently the case with online games, it’s already had its fair share of stability issues. Couple that with a criminally unrewarding unlock system and it’s understandable that the community is a bit frustrated with the game. NetherRealm Studios has announced that a patch to address some issues is on the way and, with it, players will also be receiving a bunch of in-game currency as a means of apology.

Personal views aside, Mortal Kombat has a handful of issues pretty much nobody can argue with. The game has had some spotty online play in its first week and, perhaps more damning, everyone figured out rather quickly that an obscene amount of grinding was required to unlock most of the game’s cosmetic content.

On top of needing to spend hours upon hours playing the game to earn currencies needed to unlock content, you then need to explore the game’s Krypt to hunt down said content by spending that currency on mostly randomized chests. Then, once you’ve got the gear you want, you have to grind away for more hours just to level it up and allow you to equip another unlockable, augmentations.

Yes, it seems kind of odd to complain that you “have to play the game a bunch” to unlock things, but we’re talking an insane number of hours just to get the coins, stumble upon the gear you want and then upgrade it enough so you can add augmentations.

NetherRealm has stated that a balance patch is due out soon, including a “thank you gift” (more of an apology offering, if you ask me) boasting a bunch of in-game goodies. If you’ve been playing the game this past week, you’ll soon be getting your hands on 500,000 Koins, 500 Hearts, 1,000 Soul Fragments and 1,000 Time Crystals. That’s actually a pretty solid collection, which will be bolstered by the fact that the patch will reduce the sometimes insane AI difficulty in the challenge towers while upping the rewards.
