Η E3 2019 έχει τελειώσει, η E3 2020 έχει οριστεί για τις 9 έως τις 11 Ιουνίου

The trade show is finally over and done with, and that means the annual event is set to come back again next year. Attendees can now know the date and time for E3 2020 with the latest news, but given that 2019’s Electronic Entertainment Expo has ended, what’re your thoughts?

The cringe expo that is supposed to be about new games, new tech, gameplay, and reveal-trailers that will send you head over heels — wherein recent times has a lot of diversity talking points and social justice inclusion — has ended.

Like clockwork, the 2019 event will be succeeded by the 2020 event that will kick-off on June 9th and will end on June 11th, 2020. As of course, website prnewswire.com offers the same info that signs around the E3 2019 coliseum relay, which reads:

“[…] With 66,100 in attendance and millions more watching and participating online, E3 is the annual epicenter of game news and technological innovation, setting agenda for the industry’s year ahead and showcasing the world’s most anticipated games. The Entertainment Software Association (ESA), the trade association that represents the U.S. video game industry and owns and produces E3, also announced that E3 2020 will take place June 9-11 at the Los Angeles Convention Center.”

And to boast about the event without comparable numbers or statistics, Stanley Pierre-Louis, CEO of the ESA, went on to talk about how this year’s E3 managed to top and break E3 2018’s records:

“E3 is where the video game industry’s biggest brands and biggest fans converge to shape the future. E3’s energy and excitement were felt in the halls, on the floors, and press conferences. We broke records, saw incredible innovations, and had breathtaking moments that entertained the world. Congratulations to our creative and innovative exhibitors, members, and partners who made such a fantastic E3 possible.”

While we wait for E3 2020 to roll around, what are your thoughts on this year’s E3? What was your favorite keynote? What was your most hated conference? Do you think E3 is still relevant or no? Were there any games that have you looking forward to gaming in Q2 2019 and beyond or no?

Personally, the only game I’m looking forward to from this E3 is Seiken Densetsu 3 Remake (or Trials of Mana) given that it’ll be heading to PC while capturing everything from the original but in 3D.
