Η εγγραφή στο Monster Train Closed Beta είναι ζωντανή, διαθέσιμη έως τις 19 Μαρτίου

Registration for the closed beta of the rogue-like, deckbuilding, monster-filled strategy game has gone live. You can sign-up right now to participate in the Τρένο τέρας closed beta by visiting the Επίσημη ιστοσελίδα.

The closed beta will run from the end of February up through March 19th, so you have a few weeks to get in some game time with the new title from Good Shepherd Entertainment and Shiny Shoe Studios.

In celebration of the closed beta kicking off they released a new livestream covering some of the gameplay mechanics and features that gamers can expect when they boot up the title. You can check it out below.

So the gist for Τρένο τέρας is that Heaven has launched an all-out war on the minions of Hell and managed to destroy all of the power Pyres that kept the lake of fire burning bright with the souls of the damned.

However, there was one train that managed to escape the onslaught, carrying the last Pyre of Hell out of the land of the forsaken. This leads into a dynamic chase along the train tracks of Armageddon, where the forces of Heaven attempt to derail and destroy the final Pyre located on the Monster Train.

It’s up to players to defend the Pyre across vertical levels on the train, attempting to keep the forces at bay until they can escape into the safety of another principality.

The core of the game centers around collecting over 200 different cards in a rogue-like environment where you’ll battle against increasingly difficult enemies in turn-based CCG battles while utilizing deckbuilding to buff your forces and defenses as you battle to protect the last Pyre of Hell.

Conceptually this seems like it would make for a good limited run series on a streaming service like Netflix if it wasn’t pozzed to the gills, but for now it’s going to be a video game scheduled to release in full during the second quarter of 2020.

In addition to the single-player mode there’s also going to be a timed-based online multiplayer mode called “Hell Rush” that allows up to eight players to compete against each other in various time-oriented challenges.

Once again, you can sign-up for the closed beta over on the Επίσημη ιστοσελίδα or wait for the game to land on Steam and grab a copy sometime this summer.
