DUSK, Retro-FPS ρυθμίστηκε για είσοδο στην πρώιμη πρόσβαση στις 11 Ιανουαρίου 2018

New Blood Interactive and David Szymanski announced that ΣΟΥΡΟΥΠΟ has been delayed. Originally the retro first-person shooter was supposed to release at the tail end of 2017. However, things went the way they went and ΣΟΥΡΟΥΠΟ ended up getting delayed to January 11th, 2018.

Η είδηση προέρχεται από μια ανάρτηση στο Νήματα κοινότητας Steam. It explains that after having the “Coming Soon” sign on the store page for some time, they got calls from Valve and had to basically explain what they were doing. So they hashed out a release date.

As far as the Early Access run is concerned, ΣΟΥΡΟΥΠΟ will supposedly only be in the developmental phase for a “few months”. So maybe we’ll see it finalized and finished by the end of spring maybe? Summer at the latest? We’ll see.

Some people don’t like Early Access because they see it as fleecing – an opportunity for developers to put out an unfinished product and then take the money and run. And while there have been a majority of cases where the Early Access run was completed and the game graduated into a full release, there have been a handful of cases where the game crashed and burned the devs up and left their steaming pile of crap on Valve’s doorstep with a bunch of fanboys with their waggling wangers dangling in their hands like a loose and sloppy gummy worm hanging out of a half-opened bag.

But Szymanski doesn’t want gamers left with wangers dangling in the wind. He wants those bad boys zipped up and ready to penetrate the fortress of fun in the butthole of entertainment, and have a jolly good ‘ole time with ΣΟΥΡΟΥΠΟ.

As explained by the team…

“Well, by opening the game up to more people in Early Access – we’ll be able to get all the DUSKWorld testing we need on a larger scale, give you Episode 2 sooner than later (why not) and also finally allow DUSK to start being seen on the Steam store as a purchasable game with user reviews plus possibly get promotion from Valve – all of which is super important for an indie game.

“We’ll also finally get to merge all the separate DUSK apps into one which will make our lives and yours so much simpler, don’t ya think?”

Starting January 11th, you’ll have access to Episode 1 and Episode 2, two different Endless Arena modes, and the DuskWorld multiplayer open beta.
