Δογματά: Αιώνια is an upcoming first-person shooter game by id Software and Bethesda Softworks. Although the title is nearing its final stages with a couple of months to go before launch, it looks like Hugo Martin is attempting to set the record straight in that the sequel to the 2016 edition of Χαμός will not have loot-boxes or microtransactions.

The creative director at id Software, best known as Hugo Martin, has seemingly laid out what fans can expect from Δογματά: Αιώνια content-wise, through a conversation with fans regarding microtransactions and unlocks.

The site also sees Martin explaining that Δογματά: Αιώνια will not have a store and that these cosmetics will not “impact the game’s performance.”

Martin also stresses that the upcoming first-person shooter is a $60 game and not a “free-to-play mobile” title.

The concern is warranted, especially in this day and age where a franchise like Κρίση δολοφόνου: Οδύσσεια released without microtransactions and now sports them like a mobile game. Although Bethesda could pull a sneaky one on us and have id Software implement post-launch microtransactions in Καταστροφή: Αιώνια, as it stands now, Martin claims that at launch, gamers won’t find anything that asks for more money but in-game challenges that unlock cosmetics and the like.
