A new cinematic trailer was released for Κόναν Εξόριστοι, the emergent survival game set within Robert E. Howard’s Conan universe and due to enter Early Access on January 31st. The trailer was accompanied by a price for the Early Access version of Κόναν Εξόριστοι, which will be $29.99.

Πάνω σχετικά με την Ιστολόγιο Conan Exiles, they also reveal the Conan Exiles: Barbarian Edition, which is a special edition of the Early Access game that comes with a digital comic book based on Κόναν Εξόριστοι, a collection of six digital comics of Conan The Avenger from Dark Horse Comics, a 368 page RPG pen and paper core book, along with the “Coming of Conan” eBook for e-readers, along with an in-game Savage Rhino mount and a digital art book for Funcom’s latest game.

The one thing that might really excite gamers is the fact that the Barbarian Edition, priced at $59.99, also comes with the full soundtrack of Age of Conan και Rise of the Godslayer from Knut Avenstroup Haugen. Oh man, I loved that OST from Age of Conan. Sometimes I would just stop questing to listen to the score. Haugen paid a lot of homage in his Age of Conan score to the late Basil Poledouris, who produced the original iconic sounds for John Milius’ Κόναν ο Βάρβαρος.

And not to take anything away from Poledouris’ score, but I also thoroughly loved how Haugen took those concepts a barbarian sound and managed to expand and explore the softer and more emotive elements within the score as well. He managed to  give it slightly more subtle vibrancy and exotic hints of color than what was featured in the original Κόναν ο Βάρβαρος σκορ από το 1982.

But enough waxing poetics on the awesome soundtracks for the Conan universe. Funcom also released a cinematic trailer for Κόναν Εξόριστοι featuring Conan and a captive exile who battle against some of the wild beasts of the land. You can check out the cinematic trailer below.

If there’s been one criticism that lingers on my mind than any other, it’s about the combat. The combat was fantastic in Age of Conan, and I loved the combos and the kill moves in that game. The combat in Κόναν Εξόριστοι is definitely a lot more… pared down. It’s closer to the likes of Skyrim and other first-person melee games. Hopefully we’ll see a bit more refinement on the combat and the animations throughout Early Access.

Funcom has plans on keeping the game in Early Access for up to 12 months, so the full version should be released around this time next year in 2018. We’ll see how well they keep to the schedule throughout development in 2017.
