Digital Dreams Entertainment announced that Μεταναστευτική ποδοσφαιρική ένωση will finally make its way to the Xbox One and the PlayStation 4 starting January 19th. And while the name is slightly different to avoid getting wrangled up into a beef with EA, the game is very much an homage and a successor to EA Sports’ 1993 action-sports title, Μεταλλαγμένα Λιγκ Ποδόσφαιρο.
The game will be available as a digital-only download via the Xbox Store and the PlayStation Store, respectively. The game originally came out back on October 31st, 2017 on Steam after going through a crowdfunding phase earlier in the year back on February 2nd, 2017. The game was already further along in development and just needed that final push across the finish line to make its way onto Steam and then later onto home consoles.
During the summer Digital Dreams Entertainment had the game go through the Early Access phase on Steam so that it could be fixed up nice and neat for its launch during the fall. That following week Digital Dreams then took the game on a run through the Xbox Game Preview program, where they were able to get Μεταναστευτική ποδοσφαιρική ένωση running right proper on the Xbox home console. And soon, both Xbox and PlayStation gamers will be able to play the finished version starting January 19th.
