The hardcore, side-scrolling gore-and-gun shooter, Ένα ρομπότ που ονομάζεται Καταπολέμηση, will receive a brand new deathmatch update for the Nintendo Switch and the Steam version on PC. The update is set to go live on November 26th.

The update will enable four-player split-screen deathmatch gameplay, enabling players to duke it out using the Joy-Cons or other third-party controllers to fight it out against other players across a variety of deathmatch arenas.

Split-screen play will be supported for anywhere between two and four players, and you’ll be able to make use of 50 different artifacts, five different arenas, and plenty of mutators to keep the action feeling fresh. The mode was originally featured in the main game as a limited time mode from a secret seed, but it was so popular that the designer, Matt Bitner, decided to add a full-on deathmatch mode to the game, including five custom, hand-crafted arenas.

To help keep the action feeling fresh, there are randomly generated upgrades for all four players to acquire, and the ability to toggle the starting items and item roulette.

The deathmatch update will also be joined by some additional single-player content, including two brand new bosses, 10 new items to collect, dozens of new enemies to fight, and all new teleporters for fats-travel between levels. That’s not to mention 100 new rooms to explore.

This will further expand the gorevania title to include even more replayability than it already did in the original release.
