Η επίδειξη του Project Sakura Wars φτάνει στο PS4 στην Ιαπωνία στις 21 Νοεμβρίου

Sega is gearing up for the release of Project Sakura Wars, the newest entry in the alternate history, mech-based JRPG. The game will drop in December in Japan this year for the PS4, and it’s scheduled to debut in North America in spring of 2020. Ahead of the release a playable demo is set to arrive on the PlayStation Store this month.

RPGSite is reporting that the Japanese demo will be available on the PlayStation Store in Japan starting November 21st.

There’s no mention on how long the demo will be available or if it’s going to be free only for a limited time, but if you have a Japanese PSN account you’ll be able to access it either from the web browser or directly from your PlayStation 4.

According to RPGSite, the demo will feature similar content to what was on display during the TGS 2019 demo.

You’ll get a small taste of what the relationship building and interaction system is like, as well as a small introduction to the special combination attacks that can only be unlocked after meeting certain relationship goals, and a few of the enemies you’ll have off against, including Oboro.

The actual combat is executed through third-person mech-play, where players will have to lumber around and take down enemies using steampunk-inspired weaponry.

The game is like a mixture of dating simulators and JRPG mech sims. It’s an odd combo but will probably be the selling point for the title both in Japan and in the West (assuming it doesn’t get butchered to the high heavens by the localization team in America).

In any case, you can look to get your hands on the demo at the end of the month, and look for the game to fully release in December, next month, on the PS4.
